 THE CLOISONNE ENAMEL / O ESMALTE DE CLOISONNE
The “Cloisonné Enamel” differs from champlevé essentially in the fitting of metal partitions between the different colours of enamel and prior to the actual enamelling process. After an average of 50 different operations, amongst which 12 firing, each Cloisonné enamel dial becomes a unique piece. The talent of the master enameller and the artisiananl technique of her work make each piece a true work of art. Popular throughout the Byzantine Empire, it was also widely practiced in Europe during the middle Ages.
De "o esmalte Cloisonné" difere do champlevé essencialmente no encaixe de divisórias do metal entre as cores diferentes do esmalte e antes do processo real esmaltar. Após uma média de 50 operações diferentes, amongst que 12 que ateiam fogo, cada seletor do esmalte de Cloisonné se transformam uma parte original. O talent do enameller mestre e da técnica do artisiananl de seu trabalho faz a cada parte um trabalho da arte verdadeiro. Popular durante todo o império de Byzantine, foi praticado também extensamente em Europa durante as idades médias. |
